 The Journey

Our goal is to equip participants with the necessary skills to develop deeper levels of emotional maturity.  Emotional maturity does not automatically come with physical maturity.  Emotionally damaging thought patterns often begin in childhood and can be carried for a lifetime; impacting one's day-to-day behavior into adulthood.  Phrases like "Why don't you grow up!" or "You act like a baby!" can be embarrassing and confusing for the emotionally immature person who missed developmental stages along the way because of abusive circumstances in their childhood. The Journey has a proven record of positive results.  Participants develop a new and lasting perspective of themselves and others, allowing them to break old habits of unhealthy behavior which have held them in cyclic patterns of bondage.

The Journey is a one year program divided into four, ten-session segments.  Each segment stands on its own and includes the tools necessary for growth and healing.  All sessions are provided in a supportive, gender specific, group setting with facilitators who have experienced the life-changing program for themselves. The group process is invaluable.  Receiving feedback and seeing another's viewpoint can be a tool for developing maturity.  The absence of judgment or criticism within a group makes it more likely that individuals will transfer the life-coaching skills into their every day relationships and daily living.

There is an interview process for this program.

Lord, My Life Isn't Working

Do you feel like you were adequately trained to be successful in life?  Are you experiencing joy in your life?  This program is designed for small groups, journeying together to discover missing skills while developing understanding of a more joy-filled life in Christ.

2Cor 5:17 says, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old things passed away; behold new things have come."

Often, discovering the "new things" means learning who you really are, deep down inside.  As you discover and discard all of your protective coverings, building confidence about who God created you to be as a unique individual, joy will automatically begin to build in your life.

This program runs about 10 weeks, but depends on the make-up of the small groups.
